Gotham have signed NWSL draft 3rd overall pick Brianna Pinto.
Brianna is arriving to the team after North Carolina lost in the 2020 D1 Women’s Soccer Championship to Santa Clara 2-1. A game where Brianna scored the lone goal for her side.
Brianna is a three-year college soccer player with 65 appearances and 64 starts. Notching 23 goals and 16 assists. Represented the US youth national teams. An attacking piece who could be that missing piece to play underneath Lloyd. Or possibly push Onu and Viens for the striker spot.
Brianna just received ESPN's 21 under 21 player in the world.
This is a major addition to a team that may be without purce and Lloyd for the Olympics. It's her time to shine!!
