About Kelly Ann Livingstone:

5'10 Left footed Georgetown center back from Glen Ridge, NJ. Scored 3 goals in her senior season. Big East Defender of the year and All-Big East team. Captained a defense which surrendered just one goal over 10 matches this season. Posting 9 shutouts over that span.

As complete and well rounded a player as you can find coming out of the draft. Familiar to the demands of the pro game as Kelly was part of the dominant Gotham FC reserve team in 2021. The reserves outscored opponents 35-7, posting 4 shut outs in 9 games. Possesses a positive first touch and has vision and touch on picking out passes of all ranges. A physical defender who wins aerial battles and is threat on attacking set pieces.

Expectations: Gotham has 4 veteran starting center backs in front of her. However, there is a chance that the well rounded player could be in the mix for an outside back depth spot. Gotham struggled to find a consistent left back when Imani Dorsey was out injured. Shuffling multiple players in that spot. Has played outside back at times in college and has the tools to be successful there as well. An area of need, Gotham didn't exclusively address in the draft.

Highlights: #27 Showing a well rounded game

Exclusive: We reached out to Georgetown women’s soccer head coach Dave Nolan.

"We are very excited for Kelly Ann as we know this was always her dream situation. Coming off a fantastic college career she is ready for the next step now and is determined to challenge from day one for the strongest role possible. Gotham FC in return are getting a very versatile left footed defender who is a leader and competitor and more importantly a great culture person. Everyone at Georgetown is very proud of her and are excited to see her continue to develop."

Gotham FC Assistant Coach Becki Tweed from our latest podcast:

[Kelly Ann Livingstone] Kl's been in with us with the reserves. She came in with the first team a couple of times and and we've seen her in the environment. We know that she's a good fit. She's going to come in and and we're gonna look to develop her and we're interested to see how she does.
